THE PURPOSE
BEYOND
ONE STYLE
This training is not about memorising how to cut one particular hairstyle.
It is about becoming a stylist who can meet an unfamiliar style, analyse what is really there, think independently and construct the haircut without waiting for someone else to provide the answer.
The intention is not to collect as many styles as possible. At times, the entire day may be dedicated to one style—examining the decisions beneath it until you can begin to see, think, construct and judge for yourself.
PERSONAL COURSE DESIGN
BEFORE
THE DAY,
WE PLAN.
You meet with Daisuke to clarify what you want to learn, what you can already see and what you need to understand next.
From there, Daisuke designs the model and the direction of the day around your current level—not around a fixed curriculum used for everyone.
This preparation begins approximately 7–10 days before the training day.
LEVEL-BASED PRIVATE TRAINING
ONE TO ONE
TRAINING
Private, focused and built around your work and your current level.
Before deciding what to teach, Daisuke looks at what you are already seeing, how far you understand the structure, where your judgement stops and what is preventing the next decision.
- WHAT YOU CAN ALREADY SEE
- HOW FAR YOU UNDERSTAND THE STRUCTURE
- WHERE YOUR JUDGEMENT STOPS
- YOUR CURRENT LEVEL
Every explanation, correction and decision is directed to one person. The pace can slow down, change direction or stay with a single problem until it is understood.
Because the day is completely private, nothing is taught to satisfy a group. Sometimes depth means using the full day for a single style: why the base is built a certain way, where weight remains, where movement is created and how each decision changes the final design.
PREPARED FOR YOUR DAY
MODEL
PROVIDED
A suitable model is prepared for the session, allowing the day to be designed around the participant's learning goals.
Model selection is part of the Personal Course Design. The hair, its condition and the design potential are considered before the training begins. You do not need to arrange a model.
THE FINISHED WORK
PHOTOGRAPHY&VIDEOGRAPHY
The haircut is not finished when the styling ends. The completed model is photographed and filmed as part of the day.
We work with the same environment and equipment used at Daisuke Salon to create finished hair images and reel footage. You are shown how light, angle, camera position, movement and the way the hair is handled change what the design communicates.
Before-and-after video is recorded alongside the finished work. The training focuses on how the material is captured; video-editing instruction is not part of the day.
PRESENTATION & SNS
SHOWING
YOUR WORK
The work then moves from image to presentation: which photographs and clips to choose, what to show, how to sequence them and what each piece communicates.
This is not a general marketing lesson. It is about learning how to present what you create with clarity and how to build a body of work that reflects who you are as a stylist.
AFTER THE TRAINING
CUT
TOMORROW
The feeling we want you to leave with is simple: tomorrow, you want to cut someone's hair.
When you see a style you have never been taught, the response is no longer, “I cannot do this.” It becomes, “How is this made?” You want to analyse it, test an idea and discover the structure for yourself.
The aim is to bring back the curiosity you felt when you first began learning to cut—now supported by stronger judgement, clearer technique and greater confidence in the value of your own work.
