TOKYO

Daisuke started his career in Tokyo at 17.

Working in Shibuya, Shimokitazawa and Jiyugaoka shaped his eye for speed, precision and balance.

A major colour mistake changed everything.

Instead of hiding from it, he chose to learn more.

That moment pushed him to leave Japan and go to the UK to deepen his understanding of colour.

LONDON

London pushed Daisuke beyond the salon.

He began in Covent Garden, then spent four years at a private salon on Warren Street.

Outside the salon, he built a creative team of more than ten and collaborated with students from Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion. Together they created hair for editorial shoots and produced hair and fashion shows across the city.

He taught Japanese colour techniques in local salons and brought cutting demonstrations into London’s club scene, combining hair, music and live performance.

That was where he learned to lead a team, turn an idea into a show and create hair for the camera, not just the mirror.

KUALA LUMPUR

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Daisuke continues to run his salon while travelling across Asia for seminars and education. From Malaysia, he continues to grow his team, his work and the next chapter of his career.

DAISUKE

Daisuke does not believe in rushing through a long list of clients. He prefers to work with fewer guests, giving each person his full attention and doing his best every time.

Quiet and deeply focused, he considers every detail as he cuts. He may not be the most talkative stylist, but he approaches every guest with sincerity, care and complete commitment. For Daisuke, every appointment is a chance to create his best work.

SIGNATURE WORK

Daisuke is at his best when solving a problem. He works closely with each guest to understand the hair, identify what is not working and find the right shape and balance for the individual.

His foundation in butterfly layers was built and refined in Japan. During his years in London, he worked extensively with wolf cuts, hush layers and shag styles, developing a deep understanding of complex layering and movement.

In colour, he is especially drawn to grey hair blending, using natural grey as part of the design rather than simply covering it.

At Daisuke Salon, every stylist is a highly trained cutting professional. While each artist has their own specialties, every member of our team is trained to the same exceptional cutting standard, delivering precision, balance, and craftsmanship beyond the conventional salon experience.
